Homes in Charlotte

Homes in Charlotte are large, grand, extravagant and luxurious, just to throw out a few adjectives. However, what you’re really getting when you by a home in Charlotte is an escape - a permanent vacation home and a location that your family will love. For example, take this four bedroom and five bathroom luxurious home pictured below. Located on several acres of land, the secluded and gated home is worth every bit of the asking price.

Features for the exquisite custom home include his and her bathrooms and dressing rooms in the completely renovated master addition.  The grand stairway leading up to the second story is also a feature that can’t go unnoticed. The balcony overlooking the living room makes the space feel even larger then it already is. Homeowners will be noticing the beautiful finishes throughout the home well after they have moved in.

In addition, the chef’s kitchen, as you can see from the picture included, features off-white paneled walls, large windows and candlelight chandeliers. The more than ample amount of space is perfect for a large family dinner or even a nice gathering or party.

The outside of this home in Charlotte is a homeowners dream. Features include a three-car garage and formal garden, perfect for spring flowers or homegrown vegetables. The back deck area is also something that can’t go unnoticed with an in-ground swimming pool and hot tub that creates a waterfall feature into the pool. Light colored stone outlines the area, which matches the light brick of the multi-story home in Charlotte.

Anyone that decides to make this home or another home in Charlotte theirs will not be disappointed when luxury is on your side.  Another bonus, of course, is the actual city of Charlotte, which offers great proximity to restaurants, shopping areas, and overall great family outings.

Homes in Cornelius

Are you new to North Carolina or maybe not familiar with the town of Cornelius? The town that once originated as a mill and farm community has now developed into one of the most luxurious areas to live in. One reason for the high demand of the beautiful area is the proximity of Lake Norman. Homes in Cornelius are either on the water or just minutes from it, meaning remarkable views no matter where you live in the town. Point in case, the picture below.

This lavish home in Cornelius has a view of the water from every angle. Can’t you just picture yourself in the scene below, lying in bed on a Sunday morning watching the sunrise over extended body of water? With a home and view like such, you and your family would feel like they’re on a permanent vacation.

Another bonus to owning a home in Cornelius and the close proximity of water is the ability to have a deck and/or dock in your backyard. The attached dock makes for easy access to the water for the summer boat rides or early morning fishing trips.

And who wouldn’t want to lie by their pool or in their pool while staring at one of the most gorgeous views in North Carolina. However, the incredible views of North Carolina are not the only thing Cornelius has to offer.

Along with the homes in Cornelius, the town also offers The Peninsula Club, which is Lake Norman’s private member owned Country Club. The elite club stretches along 11 miles of Lake Norman shoreline and is the heart and hub of the Peninsula community.  One of the biggest highlights at the Club is the 18-hole golf course that has 16 holes with lake views, with many playing over or along the water. Along with a spectacular golf course, the Club also offers tennis and sports facilities, social facilities such as private dinning, bar and lounge, grand ballroom, and lakefront boat facilities, with six slips that allow you to arrive for you golf game or dinner by boat.

Aside from the beautiful lake and elite country club, there are also great schools nearby making it a great location for a family to relocate. Even with a population of just under 25,000 there are three high schools, two middle schools and an elementary school within a 10-mile radius of the town. And with 1-77 nearby, you can be in Mooresville or Charlotte in no time!

Mooresville Real Estate for Sale

Real Estate in Mooresville, NC can vary anywhere from $8 million on farmland, to $6 million on a luxury mansion, to $2 million on a breath taking waterfront family home. So if it’s big, luxury homes with lots of land that you are looking for then Mooresville Real Estate is where you should look. Others cities in North Carolina offer homes in similar price range but finding one with seclusion and a waterfront view is a specialty of Mooresville. The variety and prices for the homes in Mooresville are endless, which has encouraged me to highlight a few that really caught my eye.

The first featured home would catch anybody’s eye from the outside view alone. The three-story home is one of the most beautiful Mooresville Real Estate for sale. This European style home screams masterpiece the moment you can admire the architectural detail from the inside out. The inside of the home includes a dinning room big enough to host any lavish dinner party, a balcony over looking the living room, and a spa! If you are a fan of details throughout every room then you don’t want to miss out on this Mooresville Real Estate.

If a three-story home is too much of a household for your smaller family, then maybe a home like the one featured below is more for you. This two-story home has great features such as an open kitchen for family dinning, a basement perfect for a game room décor with a built in bar and wine cellar. The open floor plan with lake views from every room also includes a screened in sunroom overlooking the private dock and sandy beach. Whether you are a family of two or five, this home is a perfect home for entertainment and family days out on the beach.

As you can see from the next picture, another great aspect about Mooresville Real Estate for sale is the proximity of your neighbors.  They’re close enough that you don’t feel like you’re on an island by yourself, but far enough away that you won’t hit them when you cast your fishing pole. So sit back and take a sunbath on your private dock, and enjoy the beautiful features that only Mooresville can provide you.

Trulia and Ann Stiles are just a tap away from your next home

Mobile apps are becoming more popular everyday. Name the company and they probably offer and app for either an Android, iPhone, or both.  Ann Stiles Real Estate is joining forces regarding the popular concept with the recent partnership with Trulia and Trulia Mobile Apps.

Trulia, a top-five ranked website for real estate, offers mobile apps for Androids, iPhones, iPads, and Android Tablets.  The free app is GPS based that allows homebuyers to search for homes based on their location.

When in the Lake Norman area, zip code 28117, notice the banner ad at the top with Stiles contact information. If a hopeful homebuyer spots a home they like, simply click on the banner and the homebuyer can call or email Stiles right then and there.

Mobile apps are finding their stride in real estate. In a recent survey by The Real Estate Book the results show that 78 percent of mobile users viewed photos and videos of homes. Another 60 percent said they used the devices to find listing details, price, property descriptions and amenities, and contact information. Even more importantly, 66 percent requested additional information about a listing.

Business manager for Ann Stiles Real Estate, Keith Stiles, believes phone apps for real estate are great for connecting with future clients. “The Trulia app in particular is great because it not only provides a quick way for homebuyers to search for homes for sale in their area,” said Stiles, “but also provides great convenience in taking action immediately by getting in touch with a real estate broker in that area.”

Stiles is not the only one who feels mobile apps are the next best real estate tool, as 98 percent of those who reported using mobile devices considered the tools valuable in their home search, and 46 percent said they were “essential.”

Scott Dixon, president of NCI’s Real Estate Division, states, "Mobile is a complementary to our print and web offerings. We use our printed pages to drive traffic online. We track the results and see our peak traffic on our website on Monday and Tuesday, but our peak traffic on mobile is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday -- when people are on the go," says Dixon.

The app is definitely aimed at people on the go, as it uses an interactive map to explore the neighborhood of the person’s current location. A potential homebuyer can search for homes for sale, rentals, or recently sold homes. Results can be narrowed down in numerous ways from the number of bedrooms, to number of bathrooms, to even homes that have been reduced in price. To get the full details on a listing simply tap on the pin where the homebuyer can view information such as property description, history, public records, and a tab to all the high-resolution photos of the chosen home. If a homebuyer likes what they see, tap the heart to save it to the free Trulia account or press the orange contact button to be directed to a real estate agent. No tech savvy skills needed.

Other great features on the app include a map tab, which shows information about the neighborhood showing the average rating of restaurants, grocery stores, and more all powered by Yelp.

To download the app, and to get in contact with Stiles for listings in the Lake Norman area, visit the app store on your phone or visit Trulia Mobile App to download now.

Family Spotlight: The Stiles

Preview note: Our family recently appeared in The Point Navigator, the neighborhoods monthly newsletter.

FamilySpotlight
The Stiles Family By Jamie Brown

When you hear a member of the Stiles family speak, it doesn’t take long to realize they are not North Carolina natives. Their strong northern accents and fast paced speech is one of the many aspects that stayed the same when they moved to North Carolina four years ago. Keith and Ann, along with their five children, John, Nicole, Lisa, Michael, and Joseph decided to move to Mooresville, NC from Westchester County, New York, an affluent area just outside of New York City. The change in their lifestyle isn’t drastic, as their face paced way of living is imbedded in them
In fact, not much has changed at all. Keith still works for the Law Firm Klein and Machado based in New York and Ann contin
ues to sell real estate, as she has for over 29 years. With their two youngest children still in middle and high school, the Stiles’ wanted to live in an area that made raising a family fun and convenient.
“North Carolina is a beautiful state to live in and Mooresville in particular has a great school system making it a great place to raise your family,” says Ann. Keith seconded that thought, saying, “all the people here are very friendly and it’s just a great place to continue to raise my family.”
They are so happy with their decision to live in The Point that they are even encouraging others to do so. With 29 years of experience selling luxury real estate in New York, Ann wanted to continue her passion and encourage people to live in this beautiful state she now calls home.
Ann recently joined Wilkinson and Associates, Charlotte’s premier realty specializing in Lake Norman, Concord, Huntersville, Lake Wylie, Indian Trail, Fort Mill, SC and Rock Hill, SC.
“By partnering with Wilkinson and Associates I am able to be associated with a large company but still work on my own,” says Ann, who became intrigued by the real estate business from an early age from her father, a real estate investor. “The opportunity was a perfect fit for my lifestyle.” Keith has also joined in on the business working as the business manager for Ann, making it a family affair.
Now living in the beautiful community of the The Point Lake and Golf Club, the Stiles’ lifestyle consist of boating on Lake Norman, Golf and watching their children participate in sporting events, and enjoying the beautiful accommodations The Point has to offer.
